Account settings
Control your personal details, timezone, language, notifications, and security.
Your personal settings control how Weqly looks and behaves for you, and how it keeps your account secure. Find them in the Settings area (via your profile menu).
Personal details
Update your name and email address, and upload a profile picture.
Password
Change your password from the Password page. If you signed up with Google, you can set a password so you can also log in the standard way.
Timezone
This is the most important setting to get right. Weqly shows all shift and leave times in your effective timezone:
- Your personal timezone, if you set one here.
- Otherwise, the workspace timezone.
Setting your own timezone means the schedule always reads correctly for you, no matter where you log in from. It never follows your browser’s timezone. If your times look off by a few hours, check this setting first.
Week start day
Choose whether your calendar week begins on Sunday or Monday. This affects how the schedule and calendar views are laid out.
Language
Weqly is available in English and Spanish. Pick your preferred language and the interface updates.
Appearance
Switch between light and dark mode.
Notifications
Control which email notifications you receive, such as new shifts, changes, trade requests, and more. Turn off any you don’t want.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add a second layer of security by requiring a code from an authenticator app at login.
- Open the Two-Factor page.
- Follow the setup steps to link your authenticator app.
- Save your recovery information somewhere safe.
You’ll be alerted by email if 2FA is ever disabled on your account.
Deleting your account
If you want to leave Weqly for good, use Delete account. Deletion is scheduled with a grace period rather than happening instantly. You’ll get a confirmation email, and you can cancel during the grace window. Note that a workspace owner must transfer ownership before their account can be removed.
