Clock-in
Track worked time by clocking in and out, and correct sessions as a manager.
Clock-in lets your team track the time they actually work by clocking in when they start and clocking out when they finish. It’s an optional feature. An admin turns it on in workspace settings (see Enabling features).
Clocking in and out
- When you start work, choose Clock in. A timer starts running.
- When you finish, choose Clock out. The session is saved with its total duration.
You can only have one active clock-in at a time. You have to clock out before you can clock in again. If you try to clock in while already clocked in, Weqly tells you you’re already clocked in.
Times and timezones
Sessions are recorded against your workspace timezone, so start and end times read correctly for everyone reviewing them.
Managing sessions (managers & admins)
Managers and admins can review and correct their team’s time:
- View a person’s sessions over a date range.
- Add a session manually (for example, if someone forgot to clock in) by entering the start and end time.
- Edit an existing session’s start or end time.
Who you can manage depends on your role:
- Admins and owners can manage any member of the workspace.
- Managers can only manage members of the teams they manage.
When adding or editing a session, the end time must be after the start time.
