iCal calendar sync

Subscribe to your Weqly schedule from Google, Apple, or Outlook calendars.

Keep your Weqly schedule alongside the rest of your life by subscribing to it from your own calendar app, whether that’s Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and anything else that supports iCal feeds. Your shifts (and optionally your leave) show up automatically and stay up to date.

Set it up on the Integrations page.

How it works

Weqly gives you a private subscription URL. You add that URL to your calendar app once, and it periodically pulls in your latest schedule. There’s nothing to re-import when things change. Your calendar app refreshes the feed on its own.

The feed covers a rolling window of roughly the next 6 months.

Setting it up

  1. Go to Integrations and open the iCal / calendar section.
  2. Choose what to include (see below).
  3. Copy your subscription URL.
  4. In your calendar app, add a calendar by URL / subscribe to a calendar, and paste it in.

Refresh frequency is controlled by your calendar app, not by Weqly. Some apps update every few hours.

What to include

You choose what the feed contains:

  • My shifts, your personally assigned shifts.
  • Team schedules, pick one or more teams to include their shifts too.
  • Leave, include your approved time off as all-day events.

Update these options any time; the change flows through to your subscribed calendar on its next refresh.

Keep your URL private

Your subscription URL contains a secret token. Anyone with the link can see the schedule it exposes. Don’t share it.

If the link is ever leaked, regenerate the token. This creates a fresh URL and instantly breaks the old one. You’ll then need to update the subscription in your calendar app with the new URL.

Notes

  • Only approved leave appears; pending or rejected leave is not included.
  • Dropped shifts are excluded. The feed reflects your real, current schedule.
